On conclusion of the war, Sartinaynian would remain loyal to the Galactic Empire when Palpatine declared his New Order. During the Clone Wars, the planet briefly fell under the control of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. However, political realities eventually forced the colonists to join the Republic, and ironically, the colony relied heavily on the alien Muuns of the InterGalactic Banking Clan for financial support, based on nearby Muunilinst.
